Mary: There's been so much change. Some of our older people don't even have computers, right? Let alone phones or anything like that. So if you can imagine, I think sometimes when I look at my children and I think, well, at least they knew a time when they didn't have a phone. And how much that has shaped us. But the basis has always still been there that we have always had that subsistence, subsistence economy where we are and we depend on what's here. Not like everyone is under capitalism. That's another thing our language is showing us.
