The Honey That Made Us Human
Sigwadzi is shown where the honey is by the bird and there are these bear-bab trees that are across the savannah. So to actually find the bees nest is a big challenge. The bird can quickly take the hunter to the tree, climbs up and then what I watched was Sigwadzi up there taking a few things but throwing down handfuls of honey to his friends below. It's their number one favourite food, crunching on the bees in the honey and also the larvae. That actually gave us a huge store of calories for our brains to evolve because otherwise we would have just never had the energy to evolve brains that take so much energy.
