Tom Evans: The Biggest Star in Ultra Running

Tom Evans is one of the biggest stars in ultra running, pretty much these days. Last year he came third at UTMB - an amazing result considering he'd been coming off a year out with injury. He only got into ultra running because he was in the British army. His mates ran Marathon Desar and they finished something like 150th or something. It's six days across the desert. People are all pretty hardy who go and do it.
