The Three Phases of Recovery From Injury and Sickness

The third phase is commonly referred to as just the return to sport phase. We don't often know how we're going to perform, right? Gosh, I just got hit with this thing. I was out for X amount of time. So we're worried about that. And so if we can sacrifice this year's goals and recognize that with that sacrifice again, we have to be able to make sure that we have a long-term perspective on what sport means to us.
