Open ended questions give you a narrative response. You don't want to just give it all away, but you also want to collect as much as you can in preparation beforehand and during the conversation. The most pertinent information is only found within the confines of their mind. A lot of times they won't do that without proper prompting. It's simply, what flexibility do you have? What does it look like? That's one of my favorite questions. And then the other ones are other great sentence formulations for a lot of information.
