Is It Easier to Find Things?
If you look today, the types of commercial satellite imagery that you can buy off the shelf for a few thousand dollars, the quality of those images is better than what the best Cold War satellite imagery looked like. And so anything visible from the sky, it's very hard to conceal it now. The same technology that's used to uncover new archaeological discoveries can be used to look at buried and hardened facilities in different countries.
