The Meta of Body Fat and P-Ratio
The body fat percentage doesn't really seem to be related to P-ratio. If I'm trying to build more muscle as I approach my genetic limit, then it would make sense for me to bulk to a higher body fat percentage. One of the things that perhaps would strengthen the case made in our meta analysis is that individuals have varying inherent P ratios. The fact that we were seeing better lean gains and similar absolute hypertrophy in a slight energy deficit in the people with higher body fats was strengthened by that.
