Retrieval Practice - Writing a Sample Paragraph

i could see reading a short story or something like that, putting it away and asking students about their impressions. And they'd have to try to remember, like, how did the author actually achieve that effect? How did they make me this way, or whatever? I guess that sort of is similar to retrieval practice, i think. So it's still about abroad er contect with textal evidence, but related to retrieval. They're all sort of onpar with each ohri ye; there's a lot of emphasis now too on finding textual evidence for things youw sn.
