The Relationship Between Muscle Mass and Longevity
Muscle is our largest glucose sink. If you're insulin resistant, you can't store glucose in the muscle. You get the fat in the muscle as well as the liver and around your organs. Muscle is what propels us. It's good to have strong muscles but you have to be balanced. So don't underestimate the important importance of maintaining a muscle mass.
