We view food as just inanimate piles of protoplasmic structure to be manipulated, however cleverly, hubris can imagine to manipulate them. We are inherently disrespecting and doing violence to the beautiful synergistic, periodic relational complexity that this whole soil, soil and plant and animal web spins for itself. And so the natural extension of that is then to take what we've done domestically and we extend that same perspective disrespectfully to other cultures and other belief systems throughout the world. It's amazing. Those are kind of profound ideas, but, but, they're, but they're, they're no less real.
