How to Maintain Muscle Mass With Carbohydrates

Tomorrow I have a refeed day of 600 grams of carbs that I'm super excited about. The goal is to maintain as much muscle mass as possible and lose as much body fat as possible. Because my carbs are so low right now, my glycogen stores are very, very low, very low. So you get like this flat kind of stringy look and feel. When you carb up, you're shuttling those carbohydrates through digestion into the muscles. And you start to fill out a little bit. Your muscles become full, or they look larger because they're topped off with muscle glycogen. With muscle glycogen comes water.
