The Mistakes We Make About Mistake Making
The only thing that really counted as errors were playing the right notes, playing the tune, playing them in time with a good sound. Even if I was completely a musical or was doing things that were not at all compelling, those did not seem to me as being errors. When somebody's learning to play an instrument or sing for the first time, like you say, most people think, well, what's an error? To me, an uninflected note is a wrong note.
