The Importance of Sentience

I love animals. I read an amazing book by a guy named Peter Singer that talked about sentience of beings, and what, like, that it's not about equality, it's about equal opportunity. Any sentient being has a right to having to be treated fairly. There's actually a real beauty in the connection between humans and livestock animals That they've worked together for over 10,000 years at this point to their mutual benefit. But also, importantly, it does come down to an equity issue if we talk about removing meat from the food supply.
