How to Cope With CPTSD

Somatic techniques are super powerful one of my favorite things to use with CPTSD treatment. Our brains and bodies get rewired from repeated traumas which can get us locked into a fight or flight state, hyperarousal and other dysregulated states. Getting to know your nervous system is something that is really really really helpful for being able to use somatic techniques. I would definitely recommend listening to the episodes about polyvagal theory if you want to learn more about um kind of the nervous system and and that school of thought but in terms of just using the power of your body it's pretty cool.
