The Discipline of Making

As a potter i would imagine it's a solitary pursuit or very solitary pursuit but there must have been many occasions where time stood still days disappeared when you became totally absorbed in your craft. The discipline is demanding and exacting and takes a lot of time um hours weeks months years but then if you submit yourself to that discipline over over a number of years you you incorporate the skills more and more into into your body so that someone from the outside will think oh that's a very skilled activity on the inside.
