Is Your Average Power Lifter Better Than Your Average Crossfitter?

There's something inherent in the acquisition of physical strength that's really not like anything else. Even at a meet where everybody got an award, average power lifter compared to your average crossfitter. Olympic lifting isn't technically hard but objectively hard moving a heavy weight. There's quite a bit of a difference because Olympic lifters have learned that they don't make PRs all that often. That's why they don't do very well. The whole thing about training is forcing yourself to do something you haven't done before. And it changes your body but it also changes everything else about you. Right. Yep.
