How Long Should Your Initial Course of Treatment Be?
For an average patient, how long should your initial course of treatment be with a PPI? So the recommendation is to start as a super medicine medication and continue it for eight weeks. And after that, there's no formal recommendation on how to stop the medicine, but a tapered approach may be better than stopping it right at the end of the eight weeks.
