What's in the Communications Bucket for Startups?
Every company has to define communications a little bit bespoke to their business and organizational structure. In highly regulated space like we were in at Uber, it made sense for communications and public policy to be married closely together. I would say that for enterprise and SaaS companies, it's much more common to have communications sit within marketing.
