The Early Days of Partimento Research
Professor Sanguinetti: Librarians tend to feel themselves as the owner of the material. They don't like very much to let people pat their hands on it, so they're jealous. There's a law in Italy, and they cannot refuse to take photographs of the material they have. This is a big problem. I considered the early days of partimento research. The first scholarly work ever published in partimento was by Gustav Fellerer.
