I could see it happening more likely maybe with less experienced lifters because you're not getting a lot of opportunity to really fine tune your technique. I think that high volume higher volume at least not high volume but higher volume periods are definitely beneficial for people that want to maximize strength and hypertrophy. There's huge inter-individual variability in terms of what people will respond to when speaking with coaches. 10 sets per week is optimal however for some people like literally four or five sets per week might be too much and there's such a big range with that so there's not enough good data on the matter.
