Animal Protein vs Plant Based Proteins

The better quality proteins come from animal sources. They have anti nutritional compounds, things that reduce the digestibility of the protein and they tend to have less of the essential amino acids. The evidence that's come out now with isolated plant proteins is much closer in terms of what they impart from a muscle supportive or health supportive standpoint than I originally ever thought that they were. And I think that that's now becoming, I mean, it's pretty,. it walk into the grocery store now and they're a plant based products that are very available.
