The Importance of Language in Mind

Language seems to be an important way in which mind operates and mind communicates. Most of our problem solving is done with distributed cognition. It's highly unlikely that these various levels are not culturally, I'm sorry, are not causally impacting and constraining each other. In the next episode we'll talk a lot more about the nature and practice of cognitive science. But I hope you can see already how it's going to be relevant to trying to understand the machinery of meaning making within the scientific revolution.
