Expecting It, Accepting It

Nichol: Expecting discomfort is a way of allowing yourself to accept it. As we become more conscious, we have more access to uncomfortable points. We don't want to overwhelm our nervous system and develop emotional resilience. And so that we're not getting blind sighded rihtwe're not getting derailed, we're expecting it so we know that it's coming. So take note of the moments throughout your day where small things like that do happen. Don't beat them up when they're not there.
