Is There a Link Between RPE10 and Injury Risk?
I think you're playing a game of tissue tolerance versus tissue adaptation. So, if the stress you're putting on them is sufficient to cause adaptation, and you're giving your body long enough to kind of heal and develop further, then that should have the effect of decreasing injury risk over time. On the other hand, either that's causing enough damage that it can't fully be repaired session to session, or you could start a very slow process of tissue degradation. I wouldn't feel 100% comfortable stating that as a fact, but I think that that's pretty likely. And there's just an enormous amount of inter-individual variability when having this type of issue.
