Intermittent fasting involves eating three meals a day. Some of the very first people to seriously embrace it were actually bodybuilders because you have this interesting sort of dual mandate one to build muscle and two to lose body fat. It's not much of a fad, right? Millions of people have done it over their entire lives. So if you want to, if you have a disease where you have too much glucose, like type two diabetes, or if you haveToo much body fat, like obesity, well, just let your body use it up - that's fasting.
