The Importance of Muscular Capacity in Training
The adage of not more than 10% percent of volume in terms of training load per week is very important. It's really, the thing I'd love to get across is that we need to look at calf muscular capacity and how repetitive we can get our athletes. You know, unless we've got athletes doing regular power cleans, dynamic, triple extension movements, we can so easily overlook it. The track does the work for us when in actual fact we need to give it increased capacity.
