How to Make Your Own Salads

I love having broccoli sprouts in any kind of a sandwich so that they're thick like this. And then if you put on top of these, if you put cucumbers, then you can press it down like a lid or take it up a slice of apple and we can have an apple-lit it sandwich. There's nothing I love more than being at Ann and Essie's and having Ann make these open-faced sandwiches for lunch. Gene Stone, who said he didn't like kale, had that sandwich and loved it.
