Getting to the Emotional Memory in Coherence Therapy
In coherence therapy, we define the first two stages of the work as discovery where you first bring this into awareness and as both an affective emotionally felt experience. That's the discovery work when it first shows up. And then we have of next phase is integration, which is what you were just saying, Sue. We want this felt knowing of this emotional truth to become routinely present in daily life for the client. So that sets it up for that last stage of creating juxtaposition experiences by finding contradictory knowing.
