Teachers should be able to identify their own things t they need to work on. Culture, foundations and appetite were my principles for developing professional development in schools. I think part of this is working out what exactly is it that matters most to this school right now. It's also what stuff you think is the highest leverage. There are ways to do that through a kind of routine of moving between those priorities.
