How to Stop Reacting When You Think You're in Danger

The key is as finding a gap in between the two that allows you to stop and pause, rather than just reacting. It's when we react that we get ourselves in trouble, because that's the older part of the brain that reacts. And i love catching myself activating the the fighter flight mode in my own head for silly things, and then realizing, oh, well, that's just what we do.
