"I don't think that most people just live in a state of attaching something and then hamster whaling their whole life," she says. "We are motivated by dopamine and all the other chemicals in our brain that give us positive responses when we do certain things" She adds: "It's almost like you have to live into something before you believe it, because you have to make that pathway work"
