APO-B and LDL-P
APO-B is really what we now call an LDL particle concentration, LDL-P. There are other laboratory methods that can report an LDL particle number that don't rely on APO-B. The one every guideline uses is APO-LIPO-Protein-B. It's a proprietary metric only done by certain laboratories and you're never going to go to this lab in the world.
