Ezekiel Chapter 34 - The 12 Tribes of the House of Israel

In Ezekiel 34 the prophet is given an oracle and he's told to preach against the shepherds of Israel. In Matthew 9 we just read that Jesus was healing every disease, every infirmity then he looked at the people and said they were like sheep without a shepherd. He's the one coming to bind them up, to heal them and to work miracles. So in Matthew 8 and 9 Jesus does it himself in Matthew 10 in this speech. He sends out the 12 to do what he said. The apostles don't just become you know fans of Jesus but participate in his ministry. This is going to be the basis for the understanding of the church.
