Why Do You Need Multiple Translations of the Same Text?
There is no one answer to this question. You can have multiple translations of the same text, and each may have a different objective. It's nought about bautei as the translition has to be as beautiful as the original. That goes without saying. And indeed, making it asbeautiful as the original is part of the process of being faithful. But in the translator's hed somewhere, the strategies are different.
