The Importance of Consistency in Training

I like everyone to think of themselves as a lead athlete no matter what how much they're running or how fast they are anything like that. So with that in mind what I like all these lead athletes to do is to err on the side of too much rest always with rather than you know I'd rather someone be 99% too rested than 1% too little rested. The problem there isn't just mental it's also physical like that athlete is going to be at 50% of what they could be in three years even if there are 100 or even if they're 20% better in three months. You know giving yourself the grace to chill out not because you need to chill but because that chill
