Stress can actually be the fact that your nervous system is wanting nourishment because you've not fed it enough. Our nervous system will not be happy we're under fuelling or not giving it the right fuel, the right nutrients it needs. Try and have more regular eating and give yourself that ability to stop blood sugars from fluctuating. But also try and change the language you use with yourself - if you're punishing yourself then you'll end up falling back into that same trap.
