The Relationship Between RIR and Hypertrophy as We Get Closer to Failure

A leg press is likely a better suited exercise to this sort of study design than a squat. The RIR leg was assigned a two RIR target on the leg press, so terminating sets once an individual perceived to be at two RIR. On the leg extension, the target was a one RIR. So it's still pretty hard training. But what I'm interested in here is trying to investigate the nature of the relationship between RIR and hypertrophy as we get closer to failure.
