How to Treat Patellofemoral Syndrome

The treatment for patellofemal syndrome or anterior knee pain is really the same, which is stretches to try to increase elasticity in the extensor mechanism. The exercise that seems to most preferentially strengthen the medial quadriceps is a stationary bike. There was also a paper written that by doing the stationary bike, you increase the answer to posterior size or girth of the muscle if you make the quad strong. And that raises the patella off the fever a little bit.
