How to Work With Primary Feelings
When a pleasant experience arises, we tend to want to grasp it or cling to it. And then, of course, a neutral experience arises, and we tend to ignore it. Through introspection, that relationship may become more neutral. Yes, some people are going to think positively of me. And the flipside, write, some people will think negatively of me. But that doesn't arouse in me the deep pleasant or unpleasant sensation any more because i've spent time with it.
