The Importance of Test-Enhanced Learning
There's this idea of serial position effect that what you say at the beginning and at the end of some period is most interesting typically to your brain. So if you just keep changing gears up, you offer more beginnings and ends. This retrieval practice actually does build retrieval strength. And this is what's known as test-enhanced learning.
