You make the point that insomnia and sleep deprivation are two very, very different things. Tell us about that they arean a lot of people use these terms interchangeably. Just because you have insomnia does not mean your sleep deprived. And i'd try to explain it this way: If you get five hours of sleep every night, you're almost definitely sleep deprived. But if you're spending 12 hours in bed to try to get those eight hours of sleep, then you are almost definitely an insomniac - even though you are getting technically enough sleep.
