I'm actually usually very careful about saying whether I will do something or not, precisely because I do want to finish it. Like I really hate canceling or quitting things. But that idea of being very careful what you take on can be helpful in terms of big projects or things that work and anything like that. It's a lot less helpful when it comes to your reading life.
