What Is It to Be Alive Me as an Individual?
In the united states, if you try to make yurself happier, you do not become happier. In the other countries, if youtry consciously to become happier,you do. So we have an implicitly individualistic idea of what it means to be a happy human being. And it turns out our vision of happiness just ain't we're not species. Individualism, lovely theory don't work for us. That'sno a species of individualists wouldn't have banded together in tribes on the savannas of africa,. and we wouldn't be sitting here in new york city having this conversation because they would have died out. Bcause no one has any children under 18
