Is Heff-Peff a Cause of Heart Failure?

There's clearly a link between chronic kidney disease and heff-peff. The exact mechanism and interplay, it remains to be elucidated. Heff-ref is associated with decreased cardiac output and neural hormone activation. For some, it might be due to primary renal sodium retention. And for others still, there's probably other mechanisms that we just haven't found.
