The Damaged Metabolism of Weight Loss

Metabolism is simply creating fuel substrates from our food, right? So that can absolutely be damaged. But what about we think metabolism as weight loss? Metabolism isn't just weight loss. I know a lot of people who are overweight, they're trying to lose weight but they're crash dieting essentially. They need to eat at maintenance for where they are now for a couple of weeks. If you gain two or three pounds and then start gaining it back, watch your calories closely.
