The Relationship Between Malting Quality Traits and Color of the Allurex
Once we removed that genetic background noise that effect, we did see that fine extract was slightly higher in the blues in our bipyrental subset. But that could just be an impact of how it was sampled. I would just follow up on that too with the statistical truism that correlation is not causation. And so the fact that we saw phenotypic correlations between malting quality traits and the color of the allurex. So those are relationships that occurred in this particular sub sample of germplasm. You could not necessarily apply those to the global population of barley.
