Connor Ratliff auditioned for the role of Colonel Sanders and was rejected. Two years later, I was given a second chance. The Gefert Show writers who knew the story had the idea to recreate that unsuccessful audition for their KFC product integration. We actually offered KFC the chance to buy a commercial, and they said they didn't think our listeners were the KFC type.
