Parkinson's Disease
My father, in his early sixties, was recently diagnosed with parkinson's disease. Since learning about it, i've been doing research into some suggested life style changes that can result in positive long term outcomes. Progressive resistance train is sometimes offensits, helping to slow and reverse the effects. And from listening to you talk about walking with ankle and hand held weights, i was thinking that it might be something to consider as well as the benefits of gait and balance. Do you have any insights on training interventions related to parkinson's?
