This trapping, by the way, they say doesn't happen in the mucosa because there's no monomeric IgA. It's mostly happening in tissues, right? That's why I started asking. They speculate that if you have antibodies to the virus, either by my recovery from an infection or vaccination, then maybe early on these interactions could participate and help reduce viral load.
