I see the kettlebell swing and certain deadlifts as pure hinge movements. I think if a person has ability to do kettlebell swings, maybe deadlifts aren't nearly as important. The clean and snatch give all the benefits of the clean plus a little extra. It's not a dumb question or a bad question or even a good question. It's a question.
